ABM Respiratory Care Appoints Sean Mellor as Vice President of Sales & Customer Success for the Americas

EAGAN, MINN – Oct 4, 2024 – ABM Respiratory Care, a leader in innovative respiratory therapy solutions, is excited to announce the appointment of Sean Mellor as the company’s new Vice President of Sales & Customer Success for the Americas. In this role, Sean will lead sales growth across the home care, post-acute care, and hospital markets, ensuring that patients and healthcare providers throughout the Americas have access to ABM’s cutting-edge BiWaze portfolio of airway clearance systems and services.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in the medical device industry, Sean Mellor brings a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in highly competitive markets. His strategic expertise and deep knowledge of respiratory care will further strengthen ABM Respiratory Care’s mission to improve patient outcomes through innovative technology.

Sean Mellor joins ABM Respiratory Care from NIOX Group, PLC, where he served as Vice President – Americas Clinical Business. In that role, he led growth and commercialization efforts for NIOX’s point-of-care device that assesses airway inflammation in patients with respiratory conditions. Prior to NIOX, Sean held leadership roles at Hill-Rom (now part of Baxter), where he led respiratory health sales across acute and home care markets. He also held key positions at Rex/UNC Healthcare, Covidien (now part of Medtronic), and began his career as an Education Coordinator and Staff Respiratory Therapist at Parkland Hospital.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Wheeling University, which provided him with a strong foundation in clinical care. Over the years, his diverse experiences—from clinical roles to commercial leadership—have shaped his deep understanding of the respiratory care field and his approach to leading successful sales teams.
